June 2026
May the grace and peace of the Holy Spirit be with us forever!
As we journey through the month of June, the Church turns her attention in a special way to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Devotion to the Sacred Heart reminds us of Christ's boundless love, mercy, and compassion for all people. At the Shrine of Saint Joseph, we witness that love every day as pilgrims, students, families, and parish groups come seeking a deeper relationship with the Lord and find peace in His presence. It is our privilege to provide a sacred place where hearts can be renewed, burdens can be lifted, and faith can be strengthened through prayer and encounter with Christ.
Each year, thousands of pilgrims, visitors, students, parish groups, and families come to the Shrine of Saint Joseph seeking something our world often struggles to provide—peace.
"My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places." — Isaiah 32:18
They come to pray before Saint Joseph. They come for Mass, Adoration, Confession, retreats, days of renewal, and quiet moments with God. They come carrying joys, burdens, questions, and hopes. And they leave renewed by the grace of Christ and strengthened in faith.
Among those who visit the Shrine are thousands of students from Catholic schools throughout New Jersey and the surrounding region. For many young people, a retreat day at the Shrine becomes a life-changing encounter with God. Here, they discover silence in a noisy world, experience prayer in a deeper way, and learn that Christ walks with them through every stage of life.
To continue welcoming all who seek spiritual renewal, we must also care for the buildings and grounds entrusted to us. Over the next 12 to 24 months, the Shrine faces more than $225,000 in essential repairs and improvements.
These projects are not simply repairs—they are investments in ministry. They help ensure that every pilgrim, student, retreatant, and visitor encounters a welcoming and beautiful environment where they can experience God's peace.
Will you consider making a special gift to the Shrine of Saint Joseph today? Your generosity helps preserve this sacred place of prayer, hospitality, and spiritual renewal for future generations. May Saint Joseph intercede for you and your loved ones, and may the loving Heart of Jesus fill your life with His peace and blessings.
With gratitude for your faithful support and prayers, I remain,
In the Most Holy Trinity,
Father Seraphim Molina, S.T., Director, Shrine of Saint Joseph
St. Joseph, pray for us!
